Greek Orthodox Baby Baptism in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn

Amid the historic charm of the Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, family and friends gathered to witness a cherished tradition—the baptism of a beloved child. The solemn ceremony, steeped in centuries-old rituals and symbolism, unfolded as the clergy performed the sacrament, anointing with holy oil, then the immersion in the baptismal font.

Following the ceremony, the celebration continued at the Belvedere Supper Club on Staten Island, where guests indulged in a sumptuous brunch while children enjoyed lively entertainment. Against the backdrop of panoramic views and elegant surroundings, the newly baptized child was welcomed into the embrace of family and community, marking the beginning of a journey guided by faith, love, and tradition.
