New York Times Marriage Announcement Photos in Flatiron (Manhattan, NYC)

This photoshoot was for an engaged couple who needed professional images that adhered to the strict submission standards of the New York Times’ wedding announcement section that they planned on submitting to. One of the more interesting requirements of the NYT was this rule:
”Couples posing for pictures should arrange themselves with their eyebrows on the same level and with their heads fairly close together with plenty of space at the top and sides of the couple’s heads.
…which can be tricky when one partner is much taller than the other! We made it work just fine, and we all thought it was a little bit goofy! After we got several appropriate shots for the newspaper to choose from, we took a few candids that were more casual and relaxed, just for fun :)
